Frequent questions

We have the answers.

The term soft tissue refers to all tissue of the human body including muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.

The fascia is a band or sheet of connective tissue, primarily collagen, beneath the skin that attaches, stabilizes, encloses, and separates muscles and other internal organs. Fascia is flexible and able to resist great tension forces.

It is an innovative treatment approach for soft tissue injuries and pathologies that uses specialized clinical equipment, the ERGON IASTM Tools.
Techniques are applied for the treatment of scar tissue and the myofascial system, also known as myofascial release. The technique is targeted for the treatment of all musculoskeletal and sports pathologies and injuries.
Therapists can be certified in the Technique by attending 2 courses, the Basic ERGON IASTM course and the Advanced ERGON IASTM course.
ERGON IASTM Tools slide over the tissues providing a distinct sensation of treatment to the patient. Treatment is not be painful and does not cause discomfort when applied by a certified therapist.

ERGON Beautystim IASTM is an advanced aesthetics treatment approach based on Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and the treatment of fascia including myofascial release. It combines static and dynamic manipulations of the body’s soft tissue with special clinical equipment for aesthetic improvement purposes. Beautystim stands for Beauty Soft Tissue Mobilization.
The ERGON Beautystim IASTM is ideal for the treatment of cellulite, fluid retention and oedemas in the face and body, sagging skin, wrinkles, undereye bags and circles, sagging eyelids, and other aesthetic problems.
Beautystim therapy offers a distinct sensation to the patient. Treatment is not be painful and does not cause discomfort when applied by a certified therapist.

ERGON Beautystim IASTM techniques are completely different from Gua Sha, a Chinese folk remedy that literally means ‘‘scratch the sand’’. Gua Sha is used for pain relief in Chinese medicine.
Several variations of traditional Gua Sha are nowadays marketed for aesthetic purposes. However, these have little to do with the original Gua Sha techniques or soft tissue mobilization performed by health practitioners.
In contrast to Gua Sha, Beautystim therapy goes deep into the soft tissues. The techniques’ application varies in speed, angle, pressure, direction, and length. These parameters are carefully selected according to human anatomy and physiology. This procedure corrects aesthetic abnormalities and delivers desired aesthetic results.
Moreover, the therapist uses the Beautystim tools to effectively assess soft tissue pathologies using a special scanning method, applicable only due to the tools’ structure and composition.
Beautystim Concept is the only systematized IASTM treatment worldwide developed specifically for aesthetic purposes on the basis of soft tissue treatment.

Both techniques are based on soft tissue treatment and myofascial release.
ERGON IASTM TECHNIQUE is a holistic treatment for all musculoskeletal and sports pathologies.
Beautystim Concept is the evolution of ERGON IASTM Technique for treating the aesthetic manifestation of unhealthy soft tissue and relative pathologies.

ERGON IASTM TECHNIQUE Therapy can bring good results fast at any stage of a pathological condition whether acute, chronic, or post- surgical.

ERGON is practiced by Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Occupational Therapists, and Massage Therapists.
ERGON IASTM TECHNIQUE Therapists who apply the Technique in their clinical practice are certified to treat pathological conditions with the use of ERGON IASTM Tools. Find a therapist.
